SAIKAH was founded by Kaori in 2022 in Papamoa, New Zealand. Kaori personally struggled to find stylish, high quality swaddles that could be used with confidence, while being good for baby’s delicate skin, all without compromising the environment. 

Kaori wanted to make both mother and baby’s everyday life a little bit brighter with beautiful baby products, and thus, SAIKAH was born.

Fast forward to 2025, the business begins a new chapter in Wellington with Jennifer at the helm - a proud toddler Mama, bringing the same passion, some fresh energy and determination to continue the journey.

SAIKAH works with passion to produce baby products that are uniquely stylish and of the highest quality - the best for your baby.

The name SAIKAH is a play on the Japanese word Saika, meaning ‘flowers  full of colours’.  The inspiration of this name comes from a phrase in Japan:

“When you smile, it’s like a flower has bloomed”.  

SAIKAH hopes to make mamas and babies all over the world smile by using our products, as if their smiles are like flowers blooming, and everyone has their own special colour.
