Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose SAIKAH?

We produce high quality products that can be used with confidence while being good for baby’s delicate skin, all without compromising the environment.

What materials are SAIKAH products made from?

Our knitted blankets are made from 100% GOTS organic cotton and are luxuriously soft and breathable. A great addition for any nursery.

Our range of swaddles are made from a beautiful blend of GOTS certified organic cotton (30%) and bamboo (70%).
With multiple designs to suit you and your baby, our swaddles bring immense softness and comfort. Perfect for babies' delicate skin to keep both mama and baby comfortable and happy.

Our range of mama covers are made from 95% bamboo and 5% spandex.
Bamboo fabric is incredibly soft, hypoallergenic, naturally UV protectant, and eco friendly. It also has fantastic thermal properties, and helps keep baby cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

Are SAIKAH products eco-friendly?

Yes, all of our cotton at SAIKAH is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) - the gold standard for the sustainable processing of clothing and textiles made with organically grown fibres.

Bamboo material is also an incredibly sustainable material, which is why we try to incorporate it where we can here at SAIKAH.

Bamboo actually produces more oxygen compared to equivalent tree mass, and absorbs up to 12 tonnes of carbon dioxide per hectare per year. It also regrows its own root system, making it the perfect renewable source for our materials.

Our packaging and Thank You cards are all made from 100% FSC-certified and recycled materials.

Our courier bags are partly made from plants (in a zero waste process) and are compostable at home!
